Background: Halophilic Archaea based on structural characteristics, physiological, biochemical and genetically distinct from other microorganisms has attracted the attention of scientists. Halobacteriumsalinarum produces a membrane embedded photoprotein with several proposed applications in biotechnology. However, low growth rates of halophilic archaea, often act to hamper all further biotechnological advances. Therefore, to achieve a high rate of growth, culture medium engineering could be affective. One main component of the medium is sodium chloride that its resource and purity may affect the microorganism growth. In this research we compare the effect of two types of the salt on the H. salinarum growth rate.Methods: H. salinarum R1 cultured in a designed reactor with inlet and outlet air tubethat placed in the Shaking incubator at 39oC and 250 rpm. Air provided by a compressor that pumped the filtered stile air through a humidifier into bottom of reactor and exhausted from outlet air tube. Humidifier temperature was equal with growth temperature. Two kind of salts used in this study; first one was purified salt via crystallization procedure. The other one was non purified sea salt from Urmia salt lake. Feeding performed every day and concentration of feeding culture medium components except salt increased depending on the optical density of the microorganism at 600 nm.Results: After 100 hours, OD600 of the microorganism grown in the Medium containing non purified sea salt was as much as 8 whereas OD600 in the case of purified sodium chloride was 4.78 at the same time.Conclusion: It seems that the impurities of the sea salt may have some trace elements that improved aerobic growth of the H. salinarum R1.

This study explores the motivational components within teacher rating systems and their impact on professional growth motivation. Employing a systematic review approach, it investigates texts pertaining to teacher rating systems, motivation, and professional development literature. By examining various texts and research findings on teacher motivation, factors influencing teacher ratings based on general, specialized, and professional competencies, as well as experience, are identified. Drawing parallels with Herzberg's motivational theory, this study provides recommendations to bolster teacher motivation and job satisfaction through improvements in the rating system.

Introduction: Evaluation of hospital information system (HIS) is a complex endeavor, in which all human, technical and organizational aspects should be considered. This study aimed to develop indicators for HIS evaluation.Methods: Present qualitative study was carried out through a cross-sectional method in 2012 in Kerman province, using Delphi technique. Given the objectives of this study, three independent phases were performed including literature review, providing draft indicators for HIS evaluation and reaching consensus. Required data were obtained through interviews and designed forms. Twenty-three experts composed the study population in interview and reaching consensus phases. Validity and reliability were confirmed through content validity and test-retest method, respectively. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics.Results: Final set of indicators for HIS evaluation consisted of ninety-one indicators under 8 main topics, i.e. technical quality, software quality, architecture and interface quality, vendor quality, after-sale services quality, workflow support quality, support department, outcome quality and HIS cost.Conclusion: Given the complexity of information system evaluation, all human, technical and organizational aspects have to be taken into account in any evaluation. Proposed indicators provide the possibility of comprehensive evaluation of HIS.
